Things like asking for my legal name, what I do as a day job, or any other details of my personal life is always a turnoff, and has led to me refusing to see certain subs who were persistent with these sort of questions.
Most people who have been in any sector of the adult industry have had the bad fortune of running across obsessive clients and stalkers, and it should be a no-brainer that I need to protect myself against anyone who would want to wish me harm or bring stress into my life. For this reason, it doesn’t matter how special our relationship is, or how long we have been seeing each other: my private life remains private, unless I choose to share details.
I have on occasion run across people who recognized me from other parts of my life, such as shared hobbies, interests, or frequenting the same neighborhoods. If this happens, it’s totally fine to say hello if you see me alone, but not to use my Domme name in a vanilla setting or vice versa.
